DAY
1 Arrival in Jorhat and Heritage Experience

On arrival at Jorhat Airport or Railway Station, our representative will receive you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, relax and unwind.

If you opt for a premium stay, you can experience a traditional tea estate bungalow surrounded by lush plantations. You may also choose to enjoy a tea tasting session (optional) to learn about Assam’s famous tea culture.

Later, visit local heritage sites including a cultural center that reflects the region’s history and traditions, along with a nearby temple known for its spiritual significance. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Jorhat.

DAY
2 Jorhat to Majuli Island

After breakfast, proceed towards the ferry point and cross the Brahmaputra River to reach Majuli, the world’s largest river island. The ferry ride offers beautiful scenic views and a unique experience.

On arrival, explore the island’s famous monasteries (Satras), known for preserving Assamese culture and traditions. Visit museums showcasing ancient artifacts and manuscripts. You can also explore nearby villages, interact with locals, and witness traditional art forms such as mask-making. Overnight stay in Majuli.

3 Majuli to Kaziranga National Park

Early morning, enjoy birdwatching around the wetlands of Majuli. After breakfast, return by ferry to Jorhat and proceed towards Kaziranga National Park.

On arrival, check in to your resort or lodge. In the evening, you may enjoy a cultural performance showcasing local dance and traditions. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

4 Kaziranga Safari and Sightseeing

Start your day early with an elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park (subject to availability), offering close views of wildlife including the famous one-horned rhinoceros.

Later, enjoy a jeep safari through different forest zones where you may spot deer, wild buffalo, birds, and other wildlife. You can also visit a nearby orchid and biodiversity park to learn about the region’s flora and culture. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

5 Departure from Guwahati

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.

Your tour concludes with memorable experiences of Assam’s tea gardens, river island life, and wildlife.
